Dr. Jerry Kartzinel

President

Dr. Jerry Kartzinel, MD, received his Doctorate of Medicine from St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his pediatric training at Keesler Air Force Base. Following Desert Storm, Dr. Kartzinel practiced traditional pediatric medicine until his fourth son, Joshua, was diagnosed with Autism and all its related chronic diseases (immune system dysfunction, chronic inflammatory bowel disease, chronic constipation, etc.). The challenge of treating multiple medical conditions required integration of the very latest medical interventions that included both traditional and complementary approaches. There now remains another great challenge – the provision of a forever home and family for our adults with special needs!

Realizing that there will come a time in the parent’s life, that caring for an adult with Autism will become increasingly difficult, Dr. Kartzinel created the concept of Home Life Community. This Community would have to be a lot more than the current “housing” model, but rather, a forever home where the Adult with special needs can continue to grow mentally, physically, and spiritually -all in an atmosphere of love. A community with programs that are tailored to each resident’s interests, desires, and needs. A true, Home Life Community!
