Housing for people with autism is a growing crisis.

 Our mission is to provide a faith based, resort-style community homes for men and women on the autism spectrum and other neurologic and physical disorders.  In addition, we will create and support enriching day programs for those not yet needing residential care.

 FAQs

  • Our community will accommodate approximately 60-100 residents – all who will have access to 24-hour compassionate staff, that are available for varying levels of need.

  • Each lodge-like home will be made up of two wings joined together by one large, common area. Each wing will contain 2 complete en-suites. Each bedroom and complete bathroom will be built to ADA specifications. Each home will be fully self-contained with a large gathering area for socializing, eating together, crafts, and watching TV.

  • We will create space designed for life-long learning, indoor sports, dances and theatrical performances. This space will include a large multipurpose building with an indoor gymnasium.

    Our outdoor activities will include basketball courts, a large therapy and recreation pool, gardens for cultivating fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowering plants.

  • Each lodge will provide a complete kitchen with a stove and oven for independent cooking. Residents will be provided high quality food, including their favorite recipes from mom and dad!

  • Our goal is to create a fulfilling work environment that provides a long term career for our staff, insuring we provide the best care possible to our residents.

The supported living model of Home Life Community is based on co-housing, and offers choice to our residents with individual, customized and flexible programs, supporting life skills training, continuing education, gardening, art/music, exercise, and healthy lifestyles.
